Samuel K. Skinner

Samuel K. Skinner has served on the Board of Directors since September 2006. From February 2007 to May 2015, he also served as Chairman of the Board of Echo. He is currently Of Counsel to law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he consults with clients in areas such as state and federal regulatory matters, transportation issues, and corporate governance.

From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Skinner served as chairman, president, and CEO of USF Corporation. From 1993 to 1998, he served as president of Commonwealth Edison Company and its holding company Unicom Corporation (Exelon; NYSE: EXC). Prior to that, he served as the Chief of Staff to President George H. W. Bush from 1991 to 1992 and the Secretary of Transportation from 1989 to 1991. As Secretary, Mr. Skinner developed transportation policy and legislation. In 1975, he was appointed by President Gerald R. Ford as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Skinner holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law. He is a former officer in the United States Army and is a member of the U.S. Army ROTC Hall of Fame.

In addition to Echo, Mr. Skinner is currently the vice chairman of Virgin America Airlines (NASDAQ: VA) and a director of Navigant Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: NCI) and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (NASDAQ: CBOE).
