In an earlier role at USF Corporation, Mr. Waggoner served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing.

"Attracting a respected and experienced executive with an impressive track record such as Doug is a major milestone for the company," said Orazio Buzza, President of Echo Global Logistics. "Doug's leadership and technology expertise will be a tremendous asset at Echo Global Logistics."

His prior experience includes various positions in operations, sales, marketing and technology with Yellow Freight System, Consolidated Freightways and McLean Trucking Company.

Mr. Waggoner, 47, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University in 1980.
